I almost want to start a poll:
Where would you rather be sitting?
A) In the cockpit of the U2
B) Driving the 'Stang
Here's another good question:
Would you have to be a U-2 pilot to drive the car ala the LSO in the Navy?

100 knots asshole. Actually it's 100 for the nose, and then about 125 for the real rotation. But yeah, we wouldn't stand a chance. Then again, how many cars could you buy with per diem? Bunk??

Wow, right to a**hole comments! Did I strike a nerve? Hit the soft spot? Just because the COD is slow doesn't mean that you are. Relax. Take some deep breaths.
Answer: If I had to wear the gay scarf, NEITHER!
Yes, you are ... but those two little pimples notwithstanding .... a quick question:Hey, we may be slow, but we're ugly!
More than a few Marine and Naval Aviators have flown U-2's, usually in USAF blue. At least one former Marine was recruited out of T-34's having previously been a CH-46 guy.........
Yes, you are ... but those two little pimples notwithstanding .... a quick question:
When did the COD's cease to be flown by ship's company Aviators and become their own squadron-like entity ... ??? I'm clueless as to when the transition occured.
