Hey guys, posted this in the ASTB thread but wanted to post here as well.

Am I competitive or are my scores to low for SNA?

Applying for SNA (Navy).

ASTB- 5/8/6
GPA- 3.4
Pilots license

Not thrilled with my scores. Especially that 5. Does anyone know if these scores will even be slightly competitive? My recruiter seems to think so but I just stop worrying about that 5. This was my first attempt so I can retest but just wanting to see what y'all thought. Thanks.

From my understanding, your high GPA and pilots license should make up for the lower AQR. 8 PFAR is great. I’d say they are competitive, send it.

Hello all, Its been confusing recently that board selection rates seem high but at the same time many are not getting in with similar scores. I'm sitting in at an 6/8/7 and a 48 with a 3.1 GPA in Mechanical Engineering with some graduate school experience and flight experience. I've also got ROTC experience and hypersonics research experience if it means anything. For anyone that has submitted and seen the last few boards, how competitive are my scores?

You’ve been on these forums long enough to know where to find the answer for this.

Hello, I'm applying for CW BDCP, IP, and either MCWO or Intel (not sure what to put as a third choice yet). Can anyone tell me my chances with the following stats:

GPA: 3.273
Major: BA in Computer Science from Rutgers University
OAR: 54

I'm on the D1 Rowing team and captained my boat. I'll be applying for the August IWC board. I have one year remaining in college (graduating May 2025) and am 20 years old.

Thank you!

I would encourage SWO and aviation if the IWC options don’t pan out.

Hello, I'm applying for Intel BDCP and figured I'd put my stats on here... I hear applying for intel is a total crapshoot so fingers crossed
Age: 21
GPA: 3.71
Major: Chinese Language, minor in Computer Science graduating June 2025
OAR: 65
captain of college sports team, several leadership positions outside, etc.

Would love someone's input on whether or not my chinese major will help me or be seen as useless by NRC...
