04NOV24 SNA/NFO Board

Just texted my recruiter. She said the last pilot board is October 4th, but you can still be immediate select if you have no waivers, GPA is in a certain range, and have a certain ASTB score. NFO is still available for November 4th board
There is no October board, the deadline is October 4th for the Nov board.

Thanks for getting the thread started! I've been told that it's possible SNA slots may be capped for FY25 prior to this 04NOV24 board convening - anyone else hear something similar from their recruiter?
Just got off the phone with my recruiter, and he mentioned something similar. I don't want to misquote, but he said something to the effect of "there's a rumor coming down the pipe that the board may be maxed out on pilot slots for FY25, but I haven't heard/seen anything that confirms it." I guess that would mean people would get rolled over to FY26? Still trying to figure all of this stuff out myself.

My CO wrote me up an excellent, well-written recommendation based on my work. Will that carry a lot of weight on the application or will it be seen as "blowing smoke" like any other LoR?

Ex officer recruiter on here says they only really care about GPA & ASTB. If those are good you’ll be ok

I'm not surprised people are getting screwed for the rest of the year since the last 4 boards have been like 90% acceptance. It's BS, but hey what's another 8 months of waiting......

Glad I found this forum for the upcoming board. I heard from my recruiter as well with the supposed capped slots rumors. She says in the past, there have been supposed exceptions, which obviously include getting the immediate selection scores and not having waivers but also with who your LOR are. I have a former Marine One pilot who retired as a Colonel and an AD Rear Admiral and she said she was going to see if LOR could be looked at as preference if the rumors are true that they aren't accepting any SNA slots
