but was that info relayed by recruiters? They said the same thing about the may board being cancelled back in like January. I wouldn't take it as granted until it's in writing.

If anyone sees anything official, please post it! It would imply some interesting results for our May board.Well fellas august board has been canceled . Relax a little
I did...I talked to one of the heads of HR, because at first I didn't wanna take that pay...and they clarified with me many times that even if I quit (or got extended due to "military obligations due to real world events) that was my benefit and that I owed them nothing back. There's no signed papers either, saying I gotta pay back if I quit, bla bla...you know, the kind they give you with relocation packages and what notWow. No idea they still paid while you're away. But I would definitely look more into your policy closely because I feel like there is a very good chance you may have to pay the money back if you do not return within 5 years. As much as these Defense contractors love to support the troops, they aren't gonna give free money away if they're not getting anything in return.
All I know is one of the recent top gun commanders was 6’ 4’’ so I think you should be good!Reading some stuff on here had me doing some measurements on myself to make sure I fit in airframes haha. My sitting height is almost smack in the middle which was surprising because I'm almost 6'2" and my buttocks knee length was just short enough for the T-45. I think I'm measuring my sitting eye height wrong though because despite my other two measurements being right in the middle my eye height is just barely not too tall haha. Anyone else get paranoid about measurements?
Thats awesome. I really did expect something similar to the relocation packages in fine print. I also work for a defense contractor but they don't post many details about military leave on the company websites. And I don't want to go around asking about it too early on before shipping out but this is really good information for later.I did...I talked to one of the heads of HR, because at first I didn't wanna take that pay...and they clarified with me many times that even if I quit (or got extended due to "military obligations due to real world events) that was my benefit and that I owed them nothing back. You wouldn't believe how big some of the guys are that fit into T45s. I'm surprised every day.Reading some stuff on here had me doing some measurements on myself to make sure I fit in airframes haha. I'm currently working at Disney and my father in law (retired army) was talking about how companies can't fire you for military obligations. I'm not sure the exact rules and such around it, but we're wondering if the regulations will allow my wife and kids to keep going to Disney using our cast admission for as long as I'm at OCS haha.I did...I talked to one of the heads of HR, because at first I didn't wanna take that pay...and they clarified with me many times that even if I quit (or got extended due to "military obligations due to real world events) that was my benefit and that I owed them nothing back. What do you do at Disney ?I'm currently working at Disney and my father in law (retired army) was talking about how companies can't fire you for military obligations. Nothing special I just sit in the call center all day haha. The nice thing is I don’t work at the parks so whenever I go to the parks so I’m not going to work. Ironically I make more money doing this than when I was working as a music teacher or as an audio tech for big concerts and festivals. Just goes to show you that the skilled/educated job isn’t always the one that actually pays lolWhat do you do at Disney ?
