Yeah I can also confirm that recruiters must be able to see it. Mine hit me up out of the blue to let me know I'm on the board. I guess in the meantime hit up your guy or wait till someone leaks the list.

Man can’t a recruiter just hook someone up?

Man, I asked my recruiter and was told I know more than them, and that "no news is good news" .... I just hope I'm not getting hosed like I did on my reenlistment paperwork a few years back

Eh not really, I know recruiters that would only call those that were Pro Y, those that were Pro N would "figure it out".

That happened to a friend of mine that applied for SWO like 6 years ago. He jokes that he either wasn’t selected or is AWOL lol. He’s glad he wasn’t picked up though the military wasn’t for him he just was desperate for work after college.

Just hearing the enlisted recruiter stories since being in makes that not surprising. I understand the logic but that’s terrible. Bad business for sure
It’s the AD mindset.

The level of trust is just non-existent. I haven’t even been in that long and the amount of people that have been hosed on technicalities or because someone else didn’t follow through when they “told you they did” is insane and unacceptable.

My father in law was a recruiter for the Army and always jokes that he was bad at his job because he actually gave a crap about his recruits and was honest with them. Based on what I know of him and some of his stories he’s absolutely right. He’d have other guys in his office mad at him because he cleared up half truths and lies that recruits had been fed leading to them not enlisting.

Happened to me when I applied for STA-21 as well as when I was looking into reenlisting. Know the pain
