Going based of the previous board stats they’ve been picking on average 150 people so maybe around that. What does he mean by “two-a-days”?I might have missed this somewhere in this thread but has anyone heard any whispers about how many people they plan on taking this time around? My recruiters office told me that they are starting "two-a-days" in flight school to get the bottle neck sorted out.

Sounds like maybe multiple lessons in a day for studentsWhat’s two a days?
Sheesh. It’s already enough information overload from what I’ve heard. Well, whatever helps.Sounds like maybe multiple lessons in a day for students
I really don't know the specifics. He just said an admiral went down there and is trying to light a fire under them basically.Going based of the previous board stats they’ve been picking on average 150 people so maybe around that. What does he mean by “two-a-days”?
I’ve been told they’ll take more than average with it being the first board for the new fiscal year, and since they have closed boards until next May. I was told they take more people on the first board for the new fiscal year I guess this board is it.I might have missed this somewhere in this thread but has anyone heard any whispers about how many people they plan on taking this time around? Personally don’t like the idea. I’m about to graduate from a college aviation program, take this with a grain of salt but I’ve seen it first hand. Personally I’ve done multiple lessons in a day and was capable of handling it all. I’ve also seen other students try to do multiple lessons in a day and come checkride day…well use your imagination. A wise quote from the best instructor I’ve flown with “quality of training over quantity”.Sheesh. It’s already enough information overload from what I’ve heard. Well, whatever helps.
Originally it was highschool football players going to the gym twice a day. In this case it sounds like flying twice a day. What’s two a days?
I wouldn’t read too much into it guys. He might’ve meant just for the classroom stuff. Or he might have not actually known what he was talking about. I think the main point is the navy is trying to keep things moving withou having to slow down selections too much. At least that’s the hopeTwo-a-days in high school football were brutal, but they worked out for us. I can't imagine how rough two-a-days will be for people learning how to fly a multi-million dollar aircraft. I would hope it's a rumor.
Military is not the civilian world… Designed to weed out the weak.Personally don’t like the idea.
