Having had the misfortune of owning two SAPFs in a foreign country, albeit one that is a treaty ally, the amount of extra shit we had to consider that CONUS buildings didn’t have to think about makes my eye twitch about this situation.
First thing we did before every cruise. Along with sealing up the gaps in the ductwork so you weren’t getting rained on by condensation.
Also Trump:
- At Arlington National Cemetery in 2017: “I don’t get it, what’s in it for them.”
- RE U.S. service members who died in combat: “losers” and “suckers.”
- RE American WWII cemetery in France: “Why should I go to that cemetery? It’s filled with losers.”
- In a separate conversation on the same trip, Trump referred to the more than 1,800 marines who lost their lives at Belleau Wood as “suckers” for getting killed.
- Per General John Kelly: The president has repeatedly disparaged the intelligence of service members, and asked that wounded veterans be kept out of military parades, as their presence "doesn't look good for me."

Its a nice Museum and they have some pretty good traveling exhibits. I started nerding out on the volunteer over the planes comms relay panel and the dude looked at me like I had three heads. 😅ETA I kinda want to visit the Reagan library now to see that AF1, which, point of order, was in service between 1973-2001.
