Ah ok, yes I spoke to the recruiter and I can submit more documentation to appeal but seems like a bit of a long shot. There was no language explicitly stating a DQ in the letter but it was a “does not meet established physical standards” due to x and y

Recruiter mentioned they may be looking for very specific language from medical providers
Yes, sometimes if the info on the med docs is vague they will DQ, then if there is more info they will clear the person.

The “X and Y” part should tell you the reasons why.

Yep, one of the reasons I can see appealing with more documentation, the other is that I failed the hearing test and have hearing loss, that is the one I have skepticism of being able to successfully appeal
If you have hearing loss that is probably the one that will stop you, I haven't seen a person who was DQ due to hearing loss get it overturned.

I appreciate that, thank you, and yes that is what I am assuming, that kind of feedback is really helpful in making a decision on whether to continue to pursue or not

Hello, I am planning to submit my package to the next SuppO board and am already working with a DCO recruiter. Wanted to post my stats here to gauge competitiveness. Any advice and comments would be appreciated.

Age: 31
Rationale: Am always looking to be part of something larger than myself. Supply is the field closest to my professional skillset and interests. Applied to AD Intel Officer in 2015 but didn't get selected. Now looking to join via the reserve as didn't want to lose my comfortable salary.
Career: Currently in corporate development and strategy with a Fortune 100 company. Formerly an Investment Banker. Previous employers include Goldman Sachs and Bank of America.
Leadership: Have had managerial / leadership duties in every role in my professional career, with several direct reports.
Education: MBA from UCLA, BA from UC Berkeley. GPA 3.6.
Physical: Went through MEPS in 2015 and no waivers needed. Nothing has changed since then.

Take a look at the DCO supply program authorization and candidly assess where you feel you may stack.

Rationale needs a lot of work. Nothing about that rationale is Navy unique.
