Fy 11 sta 21 applicants

Well maybe I'm my own alternate? I don't know...I'm just trying not to take it too seriously (as I jump up and down)
 
Congrats to all who made it! So....who wants to join the FY12 STA 21 applicants thread? LOL. Next year is going to be the year!
 
You jump up and down as my husband tells me it's ok that I have a great shot at chief being the sailor of the year. He is so sweet. I had no idea that a few numbers could discourage me so quickly!
 
Hey everyone just because you see the numbers don't let that get you discouraged. Everyone here is a great candidate and obviously committed (look at how much time we're spending on this alone). No reason to let some silly numbers get you down. Just because an application was acceptable doesn't really mean it's always competitive so I'd guess that 18% is a little bit off. To all those who do get picked congrats!!
 
calling all dc area folks...next friday a group of us are heading to inner harbor in baltimore to celebrate, good news or no news. doesn't matter if your 21 or not, probably grab dinner at hard rock or somethin' and go from there. if your interested pm me.

Actually chk13, if the numbers are correct the numbers really havent changed much for us. 4 out of 80 = 2 out of 40...odds are the same =) sleep deprived logic but i made sense to me. Wish it was 4 out of 40, but what can you do.

Don't worry, I am intel specialist applying for intel and I still feel like I don't have a chance... I think we are all in the same boat...
