Congrats, I wish I knew were I was ranked among the alternates and whether I would receive a call. Getting ancy in my pants over here, having trouble getting the ACT. With the draw down none of the education centers want to offer it. So this may be my last hoorah for STA-21.

Hey, guys, I just received orders to go to ERAU with Feb NSI. Anyone else got orders?

And a question to Jetjockey, do you know for sure that we can use Post-911 GI bill? And will it really cover all tuition for ERAU? The STA-21 website only says we can use Montgomery GI bill.

Afirm, Ive spoke with the VA rep down there a few times and she said its gtg. Also i have a friend attending ERAU who is currently doing it. But make sure youve applied for the post 9/11 gi bill asap, its been taking a while for the VA to proccess it. PM me if you want the VA reps number.

Hey EM3,

Your orders are a combined PCS to ERAU with TAD to NSI? If so that's quite a relief. I haven't received orders yet, and there was a rumor at work that we were receiving just TAD orders to NSI and could not move to our PCS location until after NSI... a depressing situation for my wife.

I too received my orders yesterday for Feb NSI...look something like this.

So as far as NSI being TAD that is true. I actually got my HHG move already set up as of today for 2 weeks from now. Will be moving myself and my wife to VA prior to NSI so she is all set while I am away. Everyone else keep an eye out. You should be receiving these soon.

Congrats to all of you who were selected this year as well as the alternates. I have a question or more so a favor to ask. I have to write a rough draft letter of recommendation for my admiral to sign. With that being said i was wondering if anyone had a copy of a solid letter they had or had pointers on the format and how to word it. I am not sure how to go about this for a flag letter. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Yes, like SWOwhat has written, your NROTC unit is the PCS location, and NSI is just TAD. Hope you get your orders soon so you can start moving.
