Even though I'm a surface dude I HAD to create an account on here. you Airdales have something going here. I also applied but for that new program SWO/ED. Thanks to your guys posts you have kept me up to date with just about everything, including the use of the asterisks *And the Navy has made me stronger as a person and assisted in my development as a future Naval Officer by making me wait 26 hours a day, 7 days a week for the results* Thanks for keeping me entertained AW

At least your CoC can spell STA-21 nothing but LDO's and CWO's in mine. I have civilians asking me more often about the results than my CoC
All my senior ppl are asking. Like seriously, I'm just going to have a celebration party of one, by myself, alone in my cubicle. Especially considering my selection affects the command. And there is always congratulations emails that go out for selections, promotion, etc.

But seriously, my CoC is doing the same thing. My Div O even tried calling a friend of his that he thought would have an inside track to no avail.
Only a few more days in October...
The wait only gets worse after the selection results come out... Think about it... February and May are aways away. Plenty of time for you selects to get lackadaisical, screw up somehow and then go before the old man right when your career is about to take off... We all know how the wait sucks just don't loose sight of your current job at hand. Trust me on this. I know from first hand experience.

Totally agree with you on that point. I probably wont leave the house except for work and school if i get picked up just so i cant compromise my reservations at NSI.
True BUT the wait from October to February went MUCH faster than the wait from July to October for the results. You have the holidays in there which makes the time fly, and you are turning over all of your duties which is just awesome.
Anyone know where I might be able to get the full 10 minute roasting of Hef by Gilbert Gottfried? Its not on Youtube.
Experiences will obviously vary. The point is don't screw it up. Keep focused on your job and watch what you do between now and your transfer date. Don't get all self absorbed with the "I'm about to be an officer BS." It may be hard to see but your far from that commission. Don't be that cocky or arrogant person in your workspace. Your coworkers who you thought were your friends may very well no longer be your friends. Jealously and envy are mean sons of bitches. Like I said, I wouldn't say it if I didn't see it myself.
