DO NOT under any circumstances google that phone number.....

rookie mistake on my part.

Precisely. During the paging era...when one received a "phone number on their pager" the recipient couldn't determine who sent that series of numbers to you. You just called the number to see who it was.

MANY years ago we had a couple of Very Attractive Female Sales Associates in the company that would "page" (pagers were used heavily prior to cell phones) certain management imbeciles to the phone number of the San Francisco Jacks as a joke. SF Jacks was a Gay club where dudes do what chicks should do for them in private. Anyway, Harvey Milk would be proud of these "like minded" deviates. God help us all if a USN ship is ever named after a LLG that simply just served out his time in the USN with no exceptional service. Yeah I grew up in SF, but I believe the gay lifestyle and all that goes along with it is nothing more than a cover for high functioning pedophiliacs.

If you weren't gay and were paged to that number- you probably would have nightmares after listening to their recorded message, although it was pretty comical coming from two female hotties (with exceptional humor prowess).

If you ever wanted to mess with someones head, page them to this number: 415-267-6999. It's not pleasant and they will likely be permanently affected, great for O-4 and above wetting downs- no pun intended.
CA Mike, thank you for your presumably honorable service. Thanks as well for outing yourself as a homophobic prick. That is all.

Is it wrong to say you don't agree with the gay lifestyle and why?

I've had a couple fucked up things I've had to deal with when I was in involving gay dudes, and CAMikes thought was not far off from what I saw.

I also had to live with a creepy gay dude on deployment, who is currently serving time in a civilian prison for kiddy porn.

Let me be perfectly clear (this post made with zero sarcasm). This Country's Greatness rests upon the pillar of the First Amendment. I pride myself (as I'm sure you did) on wearing the uniform which means I would give my life to defend every other American's right to be (and speak as) an asshole. More power to him to speak his mind; I'm just calling the baby ugly.

So what you're saying is that you haven't yet gone through the Post DADT/Social-INDOC (class) yet?

Maybe, but I think what he's really saying is, instead of contributing something noteworthy to this debate, he will instead espouse a completely infantile homophobic caricature of a point and carry on smartly. Bravo, soda jones. You have a future in debate!

I mean, I guess we all take a few liberties when posting on the internet, but it seems as though sometimes we (yes, including me) go a bit far in trying to make ourselves seem dumber than we are. The liberal wackos already think military members are bumbling neanderthals. No need to give them actual ammunition. Posts like the ones above give me images of a young boy saying to his father "Dad, when I grow up, I want to be a space physicist and be the world's leading expert on plasma" to which the AW-poster father responds "Stop talking smart, faggot!" in the most southern of accents. Sort of a non-sequitur anecdote, but the point has been made nonetheless.

Point being, how about we contribute valid arguments as to whether or not naming a ship the USS Harvey Milk is a prudent idea or not? You know... instead of being sarcastic, yet ironically broadcasting just how limited our thinking is?

Ok "ConformistDude", not that there's anything wrong with that.
I'm just embarrassed for you, sir. And maybe a little disappointed that you feel the need to slander a class of people, many of whom have and continue to serve honorably. I can guarantee you they read this forum, and some of them may have even (gasp!) served alongside you.

You DO realize the operative word in that statement is "creepy", don't you? For someone as intelligent as you proclaim to be, tell you me you understand that the two criteria of "creepy" and "gay" are two completely separate and individual things. PLENTY more creepy people are straight than gay (statistics and all). Not to mention, when you deal with pedophilia... sexual orientation is VERY ambiguous (ie: the straight, married clergyman who likes homosexual child porn, or abuses same-sex children. Not necessarily gay...)

Saying gay people are more likely to be pedophiles is one of the most ignorant, backward things said about the gay community these days, akin to black people are inferior, or on average more dumb than whites etc.

And not to get TOO far away from the OP, so feel free to PM me, but what exactly don't you "agree" with in the "gay lifestyle" (what the hell does that mean, anyway)?

Random little nugget to throw a wrench in your sexual boundaries: The VAST majority of people who look at tranny porn..... STRAIGHT men (source: "A Billion Wicked Thoughts")

Other flammable issues aside, I think it's a better story the city council apparently consulted a ouija board as part of their process.
