128 applicants for pilot.
116 selected/12 non select.

I had no idea there would be that many people applying!

Next board is meeting between now and mid-May, but if I could ballpark it I say late April/early May. Keep working on your kits and studying for the ASTB!!!

That was one of the people that rec'd email from Homer or Ted, nothing like getting info from a couple of the lowest people on the totem pole at NRC.

Remember a majority of these people are probably selected for both pilot and nfo so it makes the overall number of people that applied for quite high, overall I have seen boards where in excess of 300 people applied.

which IDC designator did you get a Y for?

I was the only one selected under oceanography. There was no quota for it and so it was a big surprise in a good way.
