PLEASE before you jump on me for "not using the search" function, I have used the search function and done my absolute best to filter through several dozen results but haven't found an answer to my specific question (maybe it's there but I am doing my best!):
Since I have "studying brain space" available after taking the OAR, I'd like to start working on Appendix B. The newest version of Appendix Bravo that I've found reads "OTCNINST 1530.6M" in the upper right-hand corner, dated 14 Jul 2022.
My question: Can anybody confirm that as of October 2024, this is the current official revision? I am aware that the details of each component don't change much, but knowing where the songs are listed (B vs C) would be nice.

I'm not sure which is most up to date. However, any version is a 90 percent solution. The mission of the Navy, general orders of the sentry, Navy and Marine Corps ranks, etc., don't change that much. It's the percentage solution regardless of which is the "most" up to date.

There is a newer version. From my understanding is 2024.

Even so. Last I checked and heard, the 1530.6 is an internal instruction and not intended for OCS applicants. That is why appendix B exists.

Yes, that’s fine, thank you, I’m not trying to access information beyond Appendix B, just confirming that I’m referencing the correct version of Appendix B.

Like others have said, any version of Appendix B you find online will be a good place to start. Even if the version you have is 90% correct, you’ll have 90% of Appendix B down by the time you get there.

What are your stats? If you’re competitive you have a decent shot at being accepted.

Your OAR is pretty good, but your GPA is on the lower end of the accepted limit. Your degree could help that. Did you have to write any statements or anything for your package?
