Oh, I definitely plan on buying a Speedmaster at some point in the future - probably when I retire, but right now I'm sticking to the less expensive stuff. I just want a good suggestion for a 3-figure watch to fill the last spot in my display case. I think I'm still leaning toward a Moonswatch Mission to Earthphase. I think they're cool and unique, if kind of a horrible value for the price. I guess technically it is the cheapest way to get a watch with a legitimate "Speedmaster" on the dial. Maybe someone has a suggestion that I haven't thought of. Something with a unique complication would be cool.Just personally, set the goal high (Omega/Rolex/etc), that way when you get it, it will matter that much more. I bought my Explorer II 5 years ago now and it still brings a smile to my face every time I look at it. I know what it took to get it, so it has intrinsic value. Rolex specifically, if you can find it at retail, it will likely never depreciate.
Oh and I wear a Garmin fitness band on the other wrist for basic fitness stuff.
