people currently at NIFE and people waiting to class up add up to close to 900From what I hear, there's more than one hundred SNAs in Pensacola waiting for NIFE
do you know how big the class sizes typically are for NIFE?people currently at NIFE and people waiting to class up add up to close to 900
The whole pipeline is bottlenecked from what I hear, but it seems lots are just waiting for NIFE I. I didn't expect it to be that many thoughpeople currently at NIFE and people waiting to class up add up to close to 900
Based off the 900 number I assume it's SNA and SNFO that are waiting? Seams like NFO pipeline isn't as backed up as pilot..people currently at NIFE and people waiting to class up add up to close to 900
its everyone, SNAs and NFOs from both Navy and USMC, Coast Guard, international students, flight surgeons, flight nurses.....all that...Based off the 900 number I assume it's SNA and SNFO that are waiting? Seams like NFO pipeline isn't as backed up as pilot..
We are stacked let’s go!its everyone, SNAs and NFOs from both Navy and USMC, Coast Guard, international students, flight surgeons, flight nurses.....all that...
I’m in the same situation and would also like to know how this is done.Who would I email and how would I go about it? Does it go through the recruiter or is it a direct email? What kind of details would I express?
Y'all got some shady recruiters man. I feel like officer recruiters don't even face the same kind of pressure that the enlisted ones do, so I don't even know why they would try to pull something like this. It just doesn't seem right that you only apply for pilot and the board just comes out of left field and is like "AKSHUALLY, you'd make a better NFO".I’m in the same situation and would also like to know how this is done.
I did not request NFO, have zero interest in NFO and, despite many years of pursuing a career in the Navy will likely drop it and go civilian if there’s no recourse. If I were interested in anything else it would have been naval intelligence and I didn’t request that either.
Talked to my recruiter, FY-24 is firm but it is possible to get moved up or swap with someone, just unlikely. Plenty of time to get in better shape and sort out my affairs I guess, the planes aren’t going anywhere.Still waiting on my recruiter to text/call me back, has anyone who was selected for FY24 heard any kind of date from their recruiter?
Yep, plus it'll come quicker than we realize. Just seems crazy far right now cus we're hyperfocused on itTalked to my recruiter, FY-24 is firm but it is possible to get moved up or swap with someone, just unlikely. No I would not. I would resent every pilot I saw or flew with.Y'all got some shady recruiters man. I am also in the same situation. I’m probably going to end up taking it , because denying a commission is kinda a death sentence.I’m in the same situation and would also like to know how this is done.
